Job Description / Main functions
- Develop e‐learning innovative and engaging learning solutions to increase cognitive understanding
- Design outlines, scripts and storyboards to develop e‐Learning training modules
- Proficient skills using curriculum design tools such as Articulate Storyline 360, Articulate Rise, and the
- Microsoft Office suite of products to create engaging training and reference material
- Proficiency of the instructional design process and adult learning principles
- Select appropriate learning methodologies that support learning needs and provides an engaging learner experience
- Perform training needs analysis to determine full scope of training required
- Determine learning objectives for the training opportunity to meet the needs of the learner and business unit
- Identify the detailed content of the program to meet objectives
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify target audience’s training needs as well as organize the
- necessary material into logical educational patterns appropriate for the end users
- Strong questioning, consulting and problem‐solving skills from both a business and technical perspective
- Curious about advances in technology and using it to enhance the learner experience
- Commitment to quality and exceptional service
- Familiar with SCORM guidelines
- Perform other duties as needed
Required qualifications
Technical skills
- Bilingual English/French
- 5+ years of working experience in instructional design, Adult Education and/or Training Development, with at least 2 years in an eLearning environment
- In‐depth knowledge and understanding of learning theories, online pedagogy and instructional design models, such as ADDIE or SAM
- Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio, and video scripts
- Proficiency in Articulate Storyline 360 (interactive scenarios, variables, triggers, conditional navigation, animation, immediate corrective feedback, interactive quizzes).
- Strong understanding of responsive design (desktop, tablet and mobile)
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects
- Excellent analytical and problem‐solving skills, with the ability to conduct detailed analysis of information, and to create and deliver best solutions
- Must have the ability to meet deadlines and provide quick turnaround on projects when necessary
General criteria
- Exceptional communication (verbal and written – French/English) skills and a collaborative working style
- Willingness to travel (US and Europe)
